EMILY H. – SURGICAL ASSISTANT
Emily, who grew up in the Boiling Springs area has the unique experience of dental and medical experience through her training at Harrisburg Area Community College. In addition to being a surgical assistant, Emily is also an LPN. She decided to make the shift from medical to dental because after working in many roles in healthcare, she wanted to expand her knowledge and skills. Being able to interact and help people is what Emily enjoys most about her job.
When Emily is not in dental surgery, she loves spending time with her twin sister and family and friends riding horses, snowboarding, and being outdoors.

CHELSEA J. – SURGICAL ASSISTANT
Chelsea is a Surgical Assistant at the Dental Specialty Center. She has 7 years of experience and attended Dental Assistant Training School in Westminster, MD. Chelsea’s favorite part of the job is giving patients the confidence to smile again. She got into the dental industry because it was something that always interested her and she wanted to be in dentistry her whole life.
When Chelsea isn’t working she enjoys playing softball, spending time with her nieces and nephews, and giving pitching lessons to local softball teams. Chelsea is married, has 6 cats, and collects all things Toy Story!
ETHAN R. – STERILE TECH
A New York City native, Ethan has been in the dental field for 3 years after graduating from Cumberland-Perry Area Vocational Technical School (CPAVTS). While Ethan enjoys his job because everyone works together as a team, he is also looking to expand his career as a dental assistant in expanded functions in the future because he has a family member who works as an EFDA.
When Ethan isn’t here in the office making sure that the sterilization area is running smoothly, he is enjoying his time off by taking advantage of much needed R&R.
SUZANNE V. – REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
Suzanne RDH, PHDHP, B.A. has spent half of her 30-year dental hygiene career dedicated to periodontal practice through clinical care and patient communication. She currently holds three professional licensures as a registered dental hygienist, dental public health practitioner, and to administer local anesthesia. In 2020, Suzanne also earned her bachelor’s degree in corporate communications from Elizabethtown College so that she could create more opportunities to communicate the importance of oral health within her profession and the public. Suzanne loves being a periodontal hygienist because she knows that what she does helps her patients’ overall health. One thing that she admits to is being a talker, which patients usually tell her helps them to be less nervous in the dental chair.
When Suzanne is not in the office, she still enjoys teaching fitness classes such as indoor cycling, yoga, and Pilates. She also enjoys being active with her family and their two rescue pit bulls and volunteering with the local dog rescue, Pitties.Love.Peace.
